Hot Water Intermittant

Hi All

I have a combi Boiler, and most of the time works OK. intermittantly, usually in the morning, when I switch on a hot tap, the boiler clicks, and I can hear water running through the system, but the boiler fails to light. When this happens the central heating works OK, and if I turn up the CH, the hot water heats OK. Sometimes, the HW fires up the boiler OK though. Anyone any Ideas, the system is a wouscter Heatslave 9.24. Also, is it possible to fit a power shower with a Combi Boiler. I have a mixer shower at the Min.

Your combi wont do a power shower but will do a mains pressure thermostatic shower. The clicking you can here, is the burner lit when thi clicking happens and is it constant clicking or just one or two clicks

It is just one click, like a microswitch? or something. It sounds a little different to the click and rapid clicking of the gas being fired up.
