The British Gas engineer was out today as we had no hot water, heating was fine however. After some research I thought it may be the diverter valve but wasn't confident in doing it myself and as I have HomeCare 200 thought they should earn their money.
Anyway, when he left, he said he had replaced the diagphram and we now had hot water. He said that the valve was now leaking so he would return on Monday to replace that. However, the water's still not very hot. It's luke warm but nowhere near as hot as it used to be.
We used to have the shower at 7/8 and it was fine, now we have to turn it past maximum and we still barely get hot water. Out of the taps osn't much better.
Is this because of the valve or likely to be something else?
