Have at the moment an electric shower but am changing to a power shower.
Just need to know if the water tank is ample enough for the job.
We have 6 people in the household, I expect 1 bath a night and 5 showers to be taken in the family.
The tank is around the 40 gallon size.
Would this be ok or should I get a larger tank?

should be fine.

you won't all be queueing to get in the bathroom will you.

More to the point, how is the HW cylinder heated, gravity or fully pumped?

Not sure what you mean but what I can tell you is that the HW tank is in the loft, the HW cylinder is below in the airing cupboard and a pump is connected on the cylinder side.
Sorry to be dumb but as you guessed it I'm no plumber.

Just taken a look in the loft at the HW tank and nothing next to it.
In the airing cupboard there is a Grundfos pump just above the 2 actuators though.
Does this help?

am i going mad or what ?

i said thats a cold water storage in the loft not a hw tank.
then i said have you one of these next to the pump.

yes you have a fully pumped s plan system.

So is having a 40 gallon HW cylinder in the airing cupboard ample enough for a bath and 5 shower an evening then?
