Hotpoint 95130 brushes?

This is the model with motor at top.

To change brushes do you just pull on the old one and hope the "U" shaped part at the end of the spring comes out?

For those who dont recognise model numbers, this one has a square plastic tube which holds a rectangular metal tube which contains the brush and its spring.

The spare part is apparently CBNSD19

This is a very common machine!

Surely someone knows how to change the brushes?

It sounds as though you have got the brush and holder off the motor,if the brushes are the originals you can pull out the old brush and fit just the brush and spring.CBNSD19 is just that.

Right thanks for that, just what we needed to know!

Did not want to pull the old brush and find it all broke off and we could not get the new one in.

We still have another washing machine in the Gite but this one is for the main mill house.
