Hotpoint Aquarius WD440 not drying

Daughters Hotpoint Aquarius WD440 has decided to stop drying. All seems to work as normal ie. drum turns, pump runs, timer counts down etc. Hasn't been used for a few months but was working fine perviously - new baby has meant that it is now required !!

Any suggestions / ideas would be much appreciated.

remove lid and check heater and one shot with a meter .poss open circuit

Presumably heater is easy to get to ??
