Hotpoint Aquarius WD64 Leaks water from tray when filling up

Our machine has started gushing water out of the soap tray when it first starts up. Once the drum starts everything is fine but by then the floor is drenched in water. Any ideas? Have read a few posts referring to filters just wondering if anyone thinks this may be causing this issue. Any suggstions greatly appreciated

Is the little bit of plastic in the soap tray blocking the water going down , is the compartment clear of power leftovers. Also check the black hose at the bottom of the dispenser it's poss blocked with old hard soap power.
