Hi all,

All was fine till yesterday it started to take ages to wash.
It did complete the wash after more than 4 hours and the next wash was never completed.

The clothes where wet but not all of them as if the drum was partially filled.

I checked and cleaned the filter. No difference.
I selcted other programs like:
Rinse only. Nothing happens. You hear water circulating but it never reaches the tub. then stops. Then water again. Then nothing.

Any program I choose it is the same.

I'd like to try fix it myself as atm I cant really aford a new one and cant trust a used one either.

any ideas or guidance pls?

Thanks,

E

Waste pipe down too low. Should be a metre high behind machine. Does it take water in twice when it's switched on.

I checked the waste pipe and it had been installed as you say, about a meter high. I pushed the flex pipe further into the drain to eliminate the flat spot it had running across the rear bottom of the wm
before raising to reach the drainage.

Tried to wash and same story.
I can see water running into the machine, but after 4-5 seconds it stops.
the washing stops. and nothing happens.

I'm thinking it could be the element maybe?
It doesn;t heat the water, the sensor sees it so stops the washing?

Don't push it into the down pipe. Should only be 3 inches max from the top. Check motor brushes poss worn down
