as in the title,
i have just bought a washer dryer as i was impressed with my mothers, i notice that when the drain pump has pumped all of the water out of the machine, it begins to make a sort of pulsing/squelching noise, it sounds more like a piston moving backwards and forwards than a motor running. The pulses come at one second intervals for as long as the pump is running "dry"
whilst on spin when there is very little water flowing through it, it makes the noise all the time.
i have never heard this before. any ideas as to the reason? or is it normal
