Hotpoint WD420 time saver light & on off lights flashing

Can anybody help with info on the following ?
Switching power on to the m/c & pressing start on off light flashes rapidly as does the time saver light the pump starts continually pumping. Does this indicate that the main PCB is shot completely or is there a capacitor on it that I can replace ?

Error fo1 check pcb connections are tight otherwise pcb req.
