Hi All,
I am currently having issues with my hotpoint wdl540g washer/dryer. The missus put a wash on yesterday and as she put it, it appeared to get stuck at some point in the program but no fault lights appeared.
On return from work I noted water in the drum so I switched it off by holding the off button in for a while and then turning off at mains. This allowed me to clear the locked door switch, open the door and drain the water I could out of the drum. I then checked the pump pre chamber and it appeared clear. I also checked the water infeed line was clear and flow/ pressure into the machine from the mains was good.
I then tried to put it on a spin only program (B) and it appears the fault is hear somewhere. I can hear the motor attempt to spin the drum three times before having a break of about five minutes before then trying to do the same again. No fault lights appear and I am sure this cycle will continue unless I stop it by turning off. The belts are fine, no wear and tight enough, it appears that that the drive wheel from the motor is not moving/getting a signal to move.
Any ideas/help appreciated.
Marc
