I have just replaced the door seal on my washer and replaced the door interlock at the same time as it had jammed the door shut.
However, now the machine will not start, no light or anything. I have bypassed the swtich and the washer starts. (suggesting a faulty interlock?)
I have pushed the door etc to make sure it is fitting in the interlock and even removed it and moved the catch manually, but still it is dead.
any ideas?
thanks

Have a look at the pcb on the timer. You'll find some burned out tracks.

are these easy to see? will I have to remove it to see it?
