Hotpoint WMA74P with youtube link

Hi all,

We seem to be having trouble with our Hotpoint WMA74P. It makes a racket when draining and doesn't always empty. I cleaned the pump and the filter that sits in it. It was full of allsorts!!!

The wife then put a wash on and 1.5hrs later it had not drained completely. I put it on a spin and rinse and it drained ok.

Put another full load on and this time it emptied ok.

I was thinking it was the pump, but would welcome other opinions.

sorry to ask again, but does anyone have an idea about this fault.

Or have I not given enough info, if this is the case what info would you like to see on this forum?

You have either got something else stuck in the pump or the pumps knacked.
