How do I take off the radiator turner/cap/adjuster/knob PICS

just pull the white top off or lever it with a screwdriver . underneath if that is the spindle and a small gland nut if that is where the drip is coming from just nip the nut up till you can still turn the valve but no leak . theres no need to dismantle any thing, will take you 5 mins max.

it's not leaking from the gland.

so it is from the spindle not the bottom nut.

don't turn the spindle with the two flat side
do the part below the spindle got 5 sides.
turn clockwise. but doubt it'll move.
but looking at it the seals gone on the spindle. new valve.

your right

the spindle wont move much

£30 - £160 depending

It's worth an extra try to do the nut up tight, with strong grips, sometimes they're made so it does seal the shaft, sometimes not.
You'll have to hold the body of the valve still while you try it.
