Look for a pump next to your cylinder or nearby.

Nope. It's a potterton wall mounted boiler.

Reason I ask is I was told by a plumbner in for another reason that i have an olf grtavioty feed system that I should really replace with a pumped system (not the bolier says that is OK!) and that the tank will need replacing as well.

Now my FIL is saying we should do it and I smell cow's droppings.

If the pipe to the coil of the cylinder is big enough to drop a pound coin in, it is probably gravity. If you have a 3-port valve, it is fully pumped
