by law its not supposed to operate for more than 20 mins, but if the timer has given up there is no saying how long it could go for

Thanks Breezer, on that thought will I guess it would stop after 20 minutes but will it then turn on again??

depends what you do as to what it does.
if the cables are cut or the supply is removed it is designed to stop after 20 mins.
how ever if the supply is reconnected and then removed it will agian operate for a further 20 mins

it should be 20 mins!
