Hi
One of the walls in my bathroom is a stud wall, the plasterboard is 12.5mm.

I've got a bathroom cabinet that I want to put up on the wall and the ideal location for it is the stud wall (other 3 walls are solid walls.)

I'm not usually a fan of screwing things to plasterboard walls - I worry that it willl come away from the wall.

The cabinet is made of pine and weights 1stone 5pounds (about 9kg). Is that too much to attach to plasterboard?

I guess I would use spring toggles to mount it to the wall.

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers

Thanks Rob - I bought some anchors as you suggest and I was able to locate a stud, so one side of the cabinet is screwed into the stud, top and bottom and on the other side, I modified the cabinet so that it is screwed into 6 wall anchors - better safe than sorry
Cabinet feels pretty solid to me now
