It is impossible to tell, your best bet is to get a few quotes from some personal recommended sparks. There may be additional work involved before this can be done.

Work it out - £30/hour is a reasonable rate to work out from, though it will vary hugely depending on the size of company, and your location in the country.

Times based on everything being readily accessible.

1. 4-6 hours, depending on individual requirements - a CU change is a job that requires a lot of testing.
2. just changing 5 socket plates. 1 hour
3. like for like replacement, half an hour - 1 hour charged
4. running spur from ring main in adjacent room in trunking - 2 hours
5. one floodlight on FCU on ring main straight through wall - 1-2 hours.

These are guesstimates - but i am pretty sure these are reasonable times to spend on these jobs.

However, as spark 123 says, you can never be sure, and obviously every job is different, so you are best to get a few quotes.

And dont supply materials, let your electrician decide what he wants to buy, if you have any specific requirements, let him know.
