I have recently replaced my electric shower with gravity fed shower, the electric shower switch is outside my bathroom door and is no longer required, as well as being an eye sore. I plan to do the following:-
Is this approach adequate or are there better options and am I complying with regulations.
Thanks

- Remove the cable which runs from the shower to the switch and discard.
- Remove the Switch and extend the cable into the loft, cap with correctly rated wago connectors and also place in an electrical box , sealed and labelled as live.
Is this approach adequate or are there better options and am I complying with regulations.
