How to increase garage roof height

Have a garage with flat metal roof (prefab) that I would really like to increase the height of. Currently under 7ft but would ideally like to take to around 7.5 foot to be worthwhile.

Any ideas around how to best achieve this?

Take the roof of, and form a ring beam, ie bolt via some brackets some 225mm x 75mm timber on edge then refix the roof.
You will need to fit some deeper facia on the outside.

Or Build a Stud type addittion that can be bolted onto the Garage Panels , then you maybe take it up 300 or 400mm , Then I`d use PVCu Cladding for fascia ?
