Hi! DIY-beginner here so please excuse me if I ask any silly questions.
Recently bought a house with some pretty awful 80s wallpaper in quite poor condition in a few of the upstairs rooms. I've steamed it off back to the plaster, filled any large holes from wall plugs and sanded it. My question now is - how best do I prepare it for painting? E.g. is there a specific primer/undercoat that would be recommended for this type of plaster? Can I just paint straight onto it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
