Hi, I need an expert advise, hope somebody can help.

There is a blister on one of the white gloss pannels of the bathroom cabinets. It came like this from the factory and the stupidest thing is i checked all the panels when they were delivered, niticed the bubble but thought it was the protective film they put on top. So we installed the furniture, pilled the film and surprise-surprise. The manufacturer refused to exchange the pannel because it was bought a while ago.

Is there anything I can do to fix it?

goods need to be fit for purpose
egnore the manufacturers rules
your statutory rights supecede any manufacturers conditions
it needs to be fit for purpose and off merchantable quality
as it was a manufacturing defect its there problem

as the defect was visible and you chose to fit the item shouldnt matter as you are using for desighned purpose
however i think your limmited to a replacement component excluding any time or costs involved in fitting and refitting

Thank you, big-all,

I might make a complaint. Replacement is all I want. I fitted the panel myself, will fit the new one as well.

The only problem is the complaint procedure will take time. Even in normal circumstances the delivery is several weeks after you place an order. So I hoped somebody would say it is easy to repair, just iron it :)
