Problem - new all enclosed shower unit. Realised that it has a clear side panel, the one facing the part of the wall which needs to be hidden (no tiling/some services/brick etc - not good to look at).
Even if I tiled the wall, it would get dusty/full of spiders and you would view that throught the side of the 6mm huge clear shatterproof glass pane!
So - I want to roller paint the OUTSIDE of the glass pane with 2 coats of gloss white, something brilliant like my white Tile Paint. The inside of the shower is unaffected and because I'm viewing it from the back, it should be flat and brush mark free.
My query is - because when the unit is fitted I can't get to that side, will the paint come off? Do I need to do any special preparation? Can anyone advise me on the best paint, or a better method?
All I can find on google is about water washable and artist painting on glass where they then bake the glass.....
Help! Greg.
