HW zone valve does not close after timer elapsed

Hi, I'm looking for some advice on programming for hot water.

I set up my programmer for it to come on for 20 mins and it come on fine (valve opens on queue) however valve does not close after time has elapsed.

When I select hw off on my timer the valve closes no problem. So I guess the valve is working fine and it is maybe an electronics problem between the programmer and valve?
