A friend has a Hyundai Amica, and noticed rainwater gets in under the dashboard, they said that another person they work with has the same problem (same make of car)
I had a look, it appears the rain falls off the front screen into the air vents the internal body work is shaped towards the interior of the car so the rain has no alternative but to go into the car via the dashboard,
This looks like a design fault anyone else had the same problem, if so how was it solved.?
Thanks

Only generalising here, but most cars have a scuttle beneath the screen, where leaves often blow in and block the drain holes.....with exactly the consequences that you describe. Worth a look, anyway!
John :)

No there isnt a scuttle, the wiper blades would be in the way,

I cannot see anyway of stopping the rain entering the Air Vent grills, and the bodywork slopes towards the dashboard so once the rain reaches a level underneath the grill it runs into the car, There dosent seem to be any drainage facility at all
Have tried looking on the Internet to see if there are any reports of this problem but cannot find a site.

Wasnt it the original Mini that the driver had to wear wellies inside because of the rain getting into the car, seems this version of car is the same.
