Hi,

Blooming cold at the moment and tho rads are warm/hot have noticed our combi boiler pressure is maybe at .75 - is that a problem? Have read it should be 1 - 1.5.

What are the symptoms of low boiler pressure?

Thank you

Ben

On most systems, the working pressure should be between 1.5 and 2 bar (set at 1 bar when cold) . May just need a top up via the feed loop.

If you repressurise and over a few days loose pressure, you may have a leak somewhere in the system. If it stays stable, then no problem.

Hi,

Ok thanks...

At hot its just below 1... at cold it drops to maybe .5.

Sounds like it needs topping up...

Top it up when the system is fully warm to about 2, this way you will not put too much in
