IDEAL RESPONSE 80 BOILER KEEPS BLOWING THE FUSE

HI EVERYONE ,JUST WONDERING IF ANY BODY HAS COME ACROSS THIS PROB BE FORE.ON THE PCB 40 BOARD THERE IS A FUSE MARKED F1,THIS BLOWS WHENEVER THERE IS A DEMAND FOR H/W OR C/H. THE FUSE IS 2AMP,HAVE TRIED JUST H/W IT STILL BLOWS AFTER ABOUT 2 SECONDS OF RUNNING.HAVE MANAGED TO TURN THE FAN MANUALLY,ANY IDEAS?

The pump is the first culprit then there is the LP switch and the o/h stat.

The LP and o/h can be inspected visually but dont always show any signs.

The pump can be disconnected and see if it still blows the fuse.

There can be lots of other causes as well!

Mending boilers is not always that simple !

A Duff pump usually blows that fuse.

Low water pressure switch usually blows the main supply fuse.
