Has anyone had any experience with this flush valve it's stiff to push when flushed. But pushes/ flushes ok without the lid on. Thanks

Are the rods too long? Is it height adjustable?

It's pressing ok. If I put the rods through any further it constantly flushes back off any more they misses.

Is there a plunger plate?

If the rods where too long it would constantly fill the pan. As wouldn't let the valve seal. I think thats what it means

May try a new push button first if can get that separatly As I don't believe is the flush valve itself pushes down easily when lift the lid of to flush it.

It's suggesting the plunger plate should be sat on pretty much touching the top of the valve when not pressed I think it implies

Mentions priming the valve but can't see that being a problem? It's been in 5 years..
