Ideal Vogue C32 Flue length

Hello all,
we had an Ideal Vogue C32 installed by a local gas safe registered plumber. On the day he came I reminded him that the building was going to have EWI - external wall insulation - 50mm rigid insulation followed by a thin coat render. I asked him to allow for this and to fit the flue (and the 15mm copper vent pipe) allowing an extra 50-60mm. Now we are ready to have the EWI fitted I am looking at it and thinking has he allowed enough? I have no idea but it just looks very short to me. Can anybody advise please from these photos?

Has he left 50 - 60mm? Can't see the pictures.

I have seen some EWI installations where they have just left an area about 300 mm square around the flue with no insulation!
