Recently found out the white Matt paint I bought from Wickes is "contract" paint which basically means when it's dry you get a constant chalky residue on your hands or clothes if you touch the surface. Not ideal at all!

It seems Dulux and the likes don't do this, but how do I know from the tin if it's contract paint or normal paint? Both tins don't label It as contract that I can see.

Would be good to know as I've got an entire wall to repaint now it's got this chalky finish.

Maybe best to get a number of testers from different brands, but the finish of chalk paint does look good.
