Hi all, first time post...
My uncle has a problem with his immersion cylinder. It is fed by a coal fired back boiler and with the immersion element. Problem is that when the coal fire is on the water in the cylinder is causing the thermal cut-out on the thermostat to trip. It works fine if it is just being used via the heating element. Obviously the cut-out is doing it's job properly...
Is there any way around this problem? The cylinder is in the attic of his cottage so is a pain in the backside to access every time the cut-out trips off. Is there any means of regulating the water from the back boiler or perhaps installing a remote (accessable) reset for the stat cut -out
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
