indesit drum not going round

the drum on my indesit wg820 wont spin or go round in rinse mode
i have taken the back off to check the belt and it all seems ok when i rotate it by hand.
it also drains ok so i have eliminated the pump being faulty
all suggestions would be appreiciated.
