Hi everyone i could do with some advice on my dryer. The door will not engage when i try to close it. The catch on the door is intact. It seems that the mechanism is stuck on as it runs with the door open. Does it need a new part? Thanks Darren

Yes just look in the lock from the front inside is a bar that's flicked over you need something like a cable tie or a thin screwdriver that bar should not be seen it's stopping the door from shutting bit like a door on a house with a bolt across it.
