The machine is 3 years old.

The machine only seems to take half the amount of water when filling then just sits there - no motor action.

But if I put it on spin it works fine.

If you put it on rinse it will not take any water.

I'm absolutley baffled????

Easy one, valve open circuit.

Why does it take some water at the beginning?

One is a prewash then the other is a rinse so the valve is not opening to let water in the coil on it is duff.
