Indesit WG820G PROBLEM

Hello I am hoping someone can help me, the cold water solenoid valve is faulty (water trickles through it), its my dads machine, I swapped the valves round as a temp repair but when I took them off the soap dispenser housing I forgot to note which hose connects to which hole on the dispenser housing ie does the cold hose (black internal) go to the top or bottom hole on the dispenser housing, at the moment I have the hot water hose going to the top and the cold water hose going to the bottom.
