Induction hob - Normal 13 amp plug?

Hi just to put your mind at ease i know you've probably sorted your hob by now but this information might help those in the same situation as you and me! We have 6 kw supply to our place from our landlords place (don't ask...nightmare) but I did research and found this ideal 2 ring hob....http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/50151143/

Ikea is great! Its 2.9 kilowatt so under 3 kilowatt to be made possible so you can put a plug on it and put it into a 13 amp plug anyway... that and along with something like this oven

You are not wrong - assuming (never assume) you have a normal/usual socket circuit.
