****ing B&Q!!!
Its been over 4 months since I ordered bathroom suites and a shower door and I still haven't managed to get all undamaged stuff.
The shower door is going back for the 2nd time!

I just don't know how you could use these people if you were in any kind of hurry like doing a house up to sell...

Stick to specialised shops: avoid frustration, time-wasting and extra money for adjustments etc which in the end reduces your so-called B&Q discount to nothing

not at ours. some of the staff there are 18-22, some of em are v nice, especially the one that sold me a gas cylinder

Nah the ones near me are spotty faced 17 year olds straight out of school who know jack **** about anything DIY related!! They just ponce about in their orange aprons all day messing about and looking at their mobiles every 2 seconds to see if their mum has texted them!!

I use merchants - they know what they are selling.

andersonc you are right, i am an electrician and the staff in our local electrical wholesaler are not allowed to give electrical advice to the diyer's that come in as they are not trained but the staff at b&q try to badly, even the old ones, they may be old and experienced at life but not necessaraly any good at anything paractical. definately not gas or electrics
