Hello Everyone,

I bought a show flat about 18 months ago and it has 6 months warranty left. I was belatedly looking at the central heating inspection report dated 3.4.06. It confirms that the system has been flushed and it indicates that 1 litre of Sentenal System Cleaner has been used. However, at the question 'System Inhibitor Added?' it says quite clearly 'None'.

Could there have been any valid reason for not adding an inhibitor? Also, three years operating without an inhibitor, should I be concerned?

Many thanks in anticipation of your very kind assistance.

Not much you can do about it so drain the system and refill with inhibitor added.
May be they forgot to fill the paperwork in!

If the system has been left a couple of years, it would be best to add some X400 and circulate it for a month before draining. Then refill adding X100 inhibitor.
