ink(red) pen stain on white clothes!!

Please somebody help me, i have a washable white coat and it has red ink pen marks on it, i can't seem to get the marks off, does anyone have any sort of suggestions?

What type of ink is it?

If it's biro ink then try hair spray, if you spray the hairspray on the coat and dab it with a cloth then it should come off eventually.
