insinkerator 3 in 1 F-H3N1 - hot water coming through vent and Leaking

Hi. I have an insinkerator 3 in 1 F-H3N1 which when you use the hot (boiling) water tap, cold water has started coming out of the vent hole on the tap.

The instructions suggests this could be a result of a blocked outlet hose but I’ve checked and can’t see that it’s blocked.

After running it a bit, the vent hose on the right hand side of the boiler unit now pops off every time you use the hot water tap.

Any ideas how to fix it?

I haven’t changed the first for a while- could it be that?
