Install Drayton RTS5 heating control

Can anyone help? I've tried to install the above heating control but it doesn't seem to work. Not too sure if I've been wiring it up right! The old thermostat is a Honeywell T40 and I've got 4 wires going into it. Red into slot 1 (L), Blue into slot 2 (N?), Yellow into slot 3 (N?) and the Earth wire.

I don't really understand the wiring diagram given in the RTS5 instructions.

Please can anyone help?

Does Link from L to 1 mean I have to connect these two with a wire?

Have done what you said but it still doesn't work! I get no clicking sound when I turn the dial...anymore ideas?

Is the timer/programmer turned on etc?

Do you have 230v between red and earth?
