Hi,
Just looking for advice before I buy a new electric cooker and hob. I currently have existing 6mm cable from a 45amp breaker which feeds into a 45amp fused cooker switch.
The cooker I am looking to buy is 3400W and the hob is 6400W. So I guess the total max load is 9800W (42/43amps).
The question I have is, what is the best way to connect both the oven and the hob?
Can I run both from the existing 45amp fused cooker switch or do I need a seperate switch (and seperate cable and fuse at the CU?) for each applicance?
Thanks
Mark.
