Hi all
Im about to attempt to install a floating floor using oak engineered (structured) wood boards 18mm thick 125 wide and lenths ranging from 400 to 1500 with what appears to be only 4 400mm boards per pack and my question is i have an existing karndean floor over what appears to be a very level solid concrete floor which i know was laid about 9 yrs ago the floor seems to be stuck down very well and shows no sign of lifting would it be fairly safe to assume that the moisture levels are ok as the karndean is solid to the floor ? Ive also removed the skirts and am planing to float using sticky underlay 2mm thick which acording to the packing says includes a dpm should i also pva the tongue and groove to be sure of a good fix ?
