Installing Copper Pipe In The Wall

I am replacing the current 8mm pipes for the downstairs radiators with 15mm pipe. The plasterboard walls will be cut to allow for the pipes and then simply plastered over. Should the pipes be insulated with anything to protect them from the plaster or will they be ok.

the pipes will be nowhere near the surface so do not need protection from plaster, not a bad idea to insulate, have a look at Climaflex, cheap and diyable
