Evening all,
I have a hollow core washstand, which had a hole for a tap in, but in the wrong place. I have drilled a new hole through, but there is a hollow gap between the top and bottom layers of the veneer. The tap connectors fix tight, but then after a few days, the two levels have pulled in and the tap is wobbly. I tried tightening again, but same problem.
I thought about cutting the bottom veneer out to make a bigger hole and put in some pine to strengthen...is this a good idea, or does anyone else have any other solutions?
Thanks in advance.[/url]
