Hi guys,
I've been asked to fit a stainless inset sink in a works kitchen but having pulled all their equipement out and removed some shelving there are three double mains sockets all of which are live, 15mm above work surface. They want the existing sink moving directly next to plug sockets. The room is small approx 3x2.5m so there is not much scope as to where to put it. The sink needs to move as the sterilisation equipment needs to be in sequence. Could the sockets be blanked off? What distances do plugs usually have to be from sink/taps?(vertical/horizontal). What regulations apply to it? Any help appreciated, am doing the job this weekend!!
