My lounge is floored. There are gaps in the floorboards, and draughts come through. I'm planning to colour twine and seal the gaps with this, which should improve things. However, I'd also like to insulate under the floor, as I did in my current house, and it was very effective. Trouble is I only have a 30cm gap under this floor. Somebody was suggesting pumping in small insulating spheres and filling the underfloor area with them. Would this be effective. Anybody know of this having been done? thanks
