Hi,
I will be working on a DIY project soon which involves using ceramic tiles on a concrete kitchen floor. Is there an insulation product that I can use under the tiles to stop them from getting too cold? (have looked at undertile heating but too expensive)

Thanks.

Hi ,

In the same boat as you , looked at underfloor heating but decicded it would be too expensive as i'd be heating mother earth most of the time .

I'm hoping there is some kind of thermal board product thats stiff enough to tile straight onto .

My house is 100 years old so i guess whats under the tiles currently is of a pretty poor standard , hope i don't have to dig out a foot and start from scratch so to speak .
