Hi

I am doing a kitchen renovation and will be tiling the floor in a week or so.
Is there any type of insulation that I can lay on the concrete before tiling over?

I don't really want to put underfloor heating in, but anything that can help keep the tiles warm would help.

Thanks

Are you mad? tiles on springy insulation? That's a recipie for disaster.

The only option really would be insulation and then screed then tile, or batten out the floor and fix insulation between battens then ply over the top, but you would need a really rigid structure. Both these options would raise your floor level considerably

hi op sorry for my wrong advice, I'm still living in the dark ages. I though marmox was a wet room waterproof board, not insulation. Apologies again.
