why - try the appliance manufacturer's website, most of them have downloadable owners manuals & fitting instructions (including templates). Do you have the fittings but lack the templates or do you have nothing. Fittings available from www.woodfit.com and others.

why - then try the manufacturer's website as the next step. If you still have no luck then it trial & error.

Tip - you need to transfer the perimeter of the appliance door to the back of your 'dummy drawer & door' assembly so as to determine screw hole positions for the fittings. First job is to join the drawer/door together using metal screw plates (a better job would be to use biscuits or a wooden tongue - only possible if you have a biscuit joiner or a router). Next, using sticky-back Velro, temporarily position the drawer/door unit on the appliance - adjust position to allow for good opening and no catching on carcasing. Open appliance door(with dummies still in place) and transfer, with pencil, the outline of the door onto the bak of the dummy.

Most fittings come essentially as angle brackets of one form or another; one set attach to the top of the appliance door (usually below a removable capping piece), the others below the lower doo position.
