Provided the cladding is properly sealed, primed and painted. Can I use it around a bath, and behind a sink instead of tiles.

If yes, what is the best method of sealing, priming and painting. I would like to use egg shell as the final paint if possible.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum

TIA

Would need sealing both sides before fitting and treat again after fitting and undulations in joints make for a poor seal at the bath, even done well has poor performance when compared to tiles.
